Are you looking for a good blogging course that can help you start blogging the right way and make money in the shortest time possible?
Why You Should Take A Blogging Course (Free Or Paid)
One of the BIGGEST mistakes that new bloggers can make is just read one blog post after another and watch one YouTube video after another to learn how to get started blogging and make money from it.
You see, the problem with this is that these are all generic information and advice.
There’s also no structured learning that you will typically find in a blogging course.
On top of that, you are getting blogging tips and advice everywhere and from everyone.
Yes, some of them might be making lots of money with blogging.
But, NOT all of them use the same blogging strategy and business system.
Some bloggers make most of their money from affiliate marketing while some get the majority of their blogging income from advertising and others choose to make money only from selling their own products and services.
So, it’s important to recognize this difference and decide whom you want to learn from.
How To Decide If The Blogging Course Is Good
So, how do you tell if the blogging course is good?
Before that, you need to know that there are many different types of blogging courses.
Some blogging courses are more general while some blogging courses are rather specialized.
For example, there are blogging courses that specifically teach you how to make money with your blog through affiliate marketing.
There are also blogging courses that specifically teach you how to increase your blog traffic either through SEO or other types of traffic strategies.
For a more general blogging course, it will cover all the topics that you need to know to start a profitable blog from scratch even if you are a complete newbie.
Here are some essential topics that a basic beginner blogging course should talk about:
- How to set up your blog
- How to choose a blogging niche
- How to write good content
- How to get traffic
- How to monetize your blog
Now, how do you decide if a blogging course is good?
To answer this question, you need to first define what qualifies as a good blogging course.
Depending on where you are in your blogging journey, you will have different criteria for a good blogging course.
For example, if you are a complete beginner, then a general blogging course that covers all the basic topics might be good enough.
What if you have already started a blog but you’re struggling to get traffic and make money?
Then, a basic blogging course probably won’t cut it for you.
A good blogging course will be one that teaches strategies and tactics for more advanced bloggers.
Next, you also need to find out what your learning style is.
Are you someone who prefers video-based training to document-based training?
Or are you someone who likes to learn new things as a part of a group or likes to study alone by yourself?
Or are you someone who learns best with a personal blogging coach?
So, it’s important to find out whether the blogging course is presented in a format that fits your learning style.
Lastly, what exactly is included in the blogging course?
Before you sign up for any blogging course, you want to know what you are getting from the course.
Does it give you EVERYTHING that you need to go from zero to a profitable blog?
If not, you will still be left wondering what you should do next and how you should do it.
For example, you want to know if there are actionable steps at the end of each module.
This is important because learning without taking action and implementing will not get you the results you want.
Also, does it provide detailed case studies?
Personally, I love case studies because it gives me a behind-the-scenes look at what other people did to get the results.
Next, what about examples?
Are there plenty of examples provided in the course?
Examples are a great way to teach a new concept.
With examples, you will see exactly how it’s being applied in real life.
That’s why I always use it in my blog posts as well as my own courses.
Finally, in the event that you need any help, does it offer any kind of support that comes with the course?
For example, does it provide one-on-one coaching or group coaching?
If there is no coaching, is there a private Facebook group where you can answer questions?
Which Blogging Course Is Right For You
There are many blogging courses out there, both free and paid.
Which blogging course is suitable for you?
First of all, not all good courses cost money.
There are many good FREE beginner blogging courses.
For example, I put together a FREE blogging email course that shares with you exactly how I started my blog from scratch and grew it to a full-time income.
Wanna find out how YOU can start a blog from scratch and turn it into a full-time income without quitting your job?
But, having said that, some paid blogging courses definitely offer things that a FREE blogging course can never offer.
For example, a FREE blogging course would never offer personal coaching or a community where you can ask for help.
So, how do you decide which blogging course is right for you?
Question #1: Do you have the financial resources to pay for a blogging course?
If you are strapped for cash, then I recommend you to take FREE blogging courses first.
Although it might not be as comprehensive as a paid course, it should be good enough to get you started.
Once you have gone through the FREE course, you will know exactly what problems you need help with.
By then, if you can afford, you can either get a one-on-one personal blogging coach or you can sign up for a paid blogging course.
Question #2: Are you serious about making your blog work?
Are you serious about starting a blog and turn it into an income-producing assets for life?
If yes, I would recommend you to choose a paid blogging course that is right for you.
Why paid blogging course?
Because it can help you save time and accelerate your progress by following the exact blogging business system and strategy that successful bloggers have used to build a profitable blog.
Question #3: What are you looking for in a blogging course?
So, what exactly is your objective for taking a blogging course?
Are you looking for help to find a blogging niche and start a profitable blog from scratch?
Or are you just looking for help to grow the traffic to your existing blog?
Or are you just looking for help to increase your blogging income?
For example, if you already have a blog but you are having problems with your traffic, then you should be looking for blogging courses that are specifically meant to help bloggers to get more blog readers.
So, it’s important to know what you want to get out of a blogging course.
Question #4: Do you need any personal help (i.e. one-on-one coaching)?
Most paid blogging courses don’t offer one-on-one coaching.
If you are okay with self-study, then you won’t have a hard time finding a good course.
But, if you prefer personalized help and individual attention, then a paid blogging course with one-on-one coaching would probably be more suitable for you.
Personally, I would recommend one-on-one blogging coaching.
Here’s why.
Unlike online courses, ebooks, and other information products where you have to figure out things by yourself and you don’t get access to the actual person who has created the information products, 1-On-1 blog coaching program is 100% fully-focused on helping you get results.
